LIOF invests in wireless sign lighting

Stogger from the Netherlands is the world’s first lighting producer who developed wireless LED lighting specifically for the signage market. The government investment bank, LIOF, supports Stogger with the final development and first market introduction of this unique concept.
The production of channel letters is quite labour intensive. Manual placement of the necessary light modules is difficult, time consuming and costly. In effect western markets lose more and more share to low wage countries.

Automation possible
Stogger has developed a new patent pending wireless LED lighting solution, especially to address the needs of channel letter producers. The solution has a few key features:

  • 48V 1,0W high power LEDs are used
  • Exceptional light output of 125 lumens/module
  • Square-light output allowing perfect sign lighting from 0.8” letter depth
  • Automated LED module application: No manual labour = constant quality

Due to automation, sign producers can save up to 90% on their LED application costs. Furthermore, Stogger has developed SignDeal to provide a complete signage solution for end users and signage traders. Also, the aim is to provide signmakers, who buy their LED lighting at Stoggers, also production orders generated from the SignDeal platform. In this way, signmakers end up with a partnership with Stogger.

Energy savings
Stogger has produced a truly disruptive product. The technology is safe and more energy efficient compared to traditional 12V LED modules. In order to strengthen the Dutch manufacturing industry, LIOF invests in this unique concept.
